After looking at what's available, this Trumark slingshot stood out to me. It cost less than $10. I believe the lowly slingshot is often overlooked by hunters, and is an incredible value. They are simple, capable, and fun.
The Trumark FS-1 folds, but it requires a little bit of force to open or close it. The handle is molded to fit the hand, but that makes it a little bulky to carry in a pants pocket.
Carry it in a jacket or a pouch, and you can quietly take small game with it. I have spent hundreds of dollars and never found a compact pellet handgun which would do that better.
This slingshot seems to be better quality than most. It has a plastic handle as do the others, but the frame is aluminum rather than steel.
I don't like the shiny aluminum, but do like the lighter weight and the way the tubes/bands go on it. I appreciate light weight in something I may carry for miles.
The plastic grip is comfortable and has a handy chamber to hold ammo or other small items. I may use this feature sometimes, but not when hunting because the ammo rattles and makes noise. The wrist brace works well enough, folds, can be removed, but it's thick and bulky.
This slingshot feels better than most, easier, and smoother in use. The nice handle, light weight, and good tubes/bands are a big part of that. The bands appear to be of much better quality than some.
