This little Gerber Clutch Multi Tool has been my everyday pocket carry for several years now. It's small but mighty in my opinion.
I've found that it will usually do the job.

I most often use the knife blade, the pliers, or the screwdriver blades. It's a little awkward when compared to the "real" single use tools, but it's in my pocket.

My only complaint, probably my own fault, is that I have cut myself more using this knife than any I've ever used. To be fair I've used it for some jobs too big for it. But that short little blade can close and cut you if you hold it wrong...

Gerber products are often less expensive than some others, but the ones I've used have been very good quality.

Note The one pictured is slightly different (better?) than mine. It has a little saw blade where mine has a fingernail file. There is also a version with scissors if I remember correctly.
