Dryer Sheet Uses

by Buck
(Oklahoma)

I haven't tried these dryer sheet ideas, so I'll just "Bounce" them to you :-) Dryer sheets may be good for more than eliminating static cling. Tie a sheet to your belt loop and it's said to keep mosquitos away. Also said to repel, yellow-jackets, ants, and even mice from where you place it.

Put a sheet in things which smell, especially anything musty, kept closed for a long period of time... It makes sense that it would help prevent line from tangling... and that it would clean things by attracting dust, hair... But it is also said to easily remove bugs from your car, wet the car, and the sheet...

I haven't tried this idea either, but it should work for easily and safely removing ticks: Apply a glob of liquid soap to a cotton ball. Cover the tick with the soap-soaked cotton ball and swab it for a few seconds (15-20), the tick is said to come out on its own and be stuck to the cotton ball when you lift it away.
