Some hunters seem more interested in a trophy than in hunting.

Hunting is recreation, sport, and not necessary for survival today.
It should be somewhat relaxing and enjoyable. It does not have to be an endurance test. But!

The deli-ma facing today's hunter; how easy is too easy?

Hunting has become big business! Some television programs, internet websites, and other advertising sources are bombarding our hunters with the message: Get 'your' trophy!

Today's hunting includes things which would not have been considered a part of hunting a few years ago: seed, feed, and feeders... even farm machinery specifically made for hunters. Things to make hunting easier, surer...

Some get straight to the point, giving a guarantee of success, or a very high percentage of success... Advertising guided hunts, luxurious accommodations, great dining... The bottom line here; easy hunting.

When you get a guarantee of success, it is not "authentic hunting". Were more hunters focused on scoring a good hunt, and less on scoring a good trophy; we would have a "win, win situation." We don't stop those who choose easy hunting, to lie, to cheat... But! With more attention on quality hunting, the quality of hunting will improve.
