Our Brag Book

A Brag Book for hunters.
Many hunters enjoy seeing what others have harvested.
We consider 'how' it was harvested equally important.

Option #1 Simply send a picture and basic information: who, what, when, where, gun or bow. Include one small picture 'in' the e-mail: bragbook@score-your-hunting.com
Our web-mail doesn't trust attachments.

Option #2 To have more information and a SYH score you also need to fill out the: BRAG-BOOK FORM

Note: We may need to improve picture color and contrast, remove blood... edit stories and crop photos, because of space limitations...

Mike Hames Norman, OK 2007 West Central Kansas: My stand in black locust trees along a field of CRP grass, and a plumb thicket with good sign. Four does and two small bucks milling around me when I spotted a nice buck. I grunted twice and they came. At twelve yards I drew as he went behind a cedar. My arrow hit just right of center left shoulder; came out behind the off shoulder. He bucked, ran around, and fell 20 yds. from the shot. 8 point, field dressed 162 lbs. Bow: Longriver Elk longbow, 60", 55# @ 28", Beman Classic Carbon arrows, feather fletched, Magnus 135grn 2-blade file sharpened, with weighted insert.

Mike Hames Norman, OK Fall 2006: After driving four hours from my home in Central Oklahoma to West Central Kansas I arrive just before daylight. My hunting partner lives there. We had set up a couple of pop-up blinds in some woods near water two weeks prior. Around 8:00 a.m. I heard something coming from behind. About fifteen turkeys came around headed for the water in front of the blind. I carefully looked them over for a good tom. One of several gave me a good side view at around ten yards. My arrow took him just where the wings attach to the body. He flopped over and took off, but was dragging a wing. He went about 20 yards and fell under a cedar.
