3040 Marksmand Folded, Wrist Brace fits in a back pocket.
The model 3040 Marksman has "been around a while". If you've read my page "Slingshot Hunting" you may remember I bought this one, only shot it a little, and then forgot it for more than ten years.
This old bean shooter is a little bigger, and heavier than some. It has a long wrist brace which folds easily and has a flat plastic pad. It's very comfortable when shooting.
I finally realized that the same long flat wrist brace will slip easily in a back pocket for an almost traditional slingshot carry. The tubes still stick out and may catch on brush, but nothing is perfect.
I replaced the original tubes with black heavy-pull Trumark bands. They take a strong pull, but again that long, comfortable wrist brace helps. I like them for hunting with heavy 000 lead balls.
"What goes around, comes around." After trying other slingshots, this is my first choice slingshot if I really want to hit or kill something. With the long, flat, comfortable wrist brace I can shoot it slightly better (more consistently accurate) than any slingshot I've tried.
